Joseph Michael Manganiello is an American television actor born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 28th, 1976. He is best known for playing the role of werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the HBO series True Blood. He was introduced in the season three episode "It Hurts Me Too" and made seven appearances in the season as a recurring character. By season four, he was one of the regularly credited cast members.
