Use a cotton jersey for a comfy everyday thong or a satin front with lace back for some gorgeous luxury Lyla's. There are two style included, the lace back with scalloped lace edged leg opening, and the contrast fabric back, plus a lace overlay tutorial. This is really a very simple pattern which doesn't take long to make, a great place to start if you are looking for a beginner lingerie sewing project. Once you have the pattern you can make as many as you like, co-ordinating your fabric and notions across the two styles to create a beautiful collection for yourself. You will need a sewing machine that has a zig zag stitch and an overlocker is optional. As with any pattern I recommend sewing a test garment (toile) in a similar fabric before sewing in your 'best' fabric to check size and fit and make any alterations to your pattern.
