Mckillop's split short is made of wet look ripstop nylon that's slightly transparent with plenty of shine. Also used in parachutes, tents and hot air balloons, ripstop nylon is feather-light and soft with a silky hand feel, yet super durable and tough. It's water repellent and extremely resistant to rips and tears, thanks to sturdy nylon threads interwoven right into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern.
