The GearHooks® climbing and mountaineering equipment storage racks are designed to store a wide range of climbing equipment in the least space. Everything is suddenly easy to get to, quick to put away and safe from damage. The end result looks fantastic and means you can choose the gear you need for each trip quickly and easily. IDEAL FOR: recreational climbers needing to store loads of climbing equipment arbourists or tree surgeons looking to store ropes, harnesses and even chain saws anyone who works at heights and needs to store H&S equipment Each rack comes with 3 or 6 Gearhooks, each designed for different kinds of gear. 1 or 2 - 16mm gap by 300mm long GearHooks (ideal for clothing, rucksacks, helmets or heavy equipment like chainsaws) 1 or 2 - 30mm gap by 300mm long GearHooks (ideal for 2 pairs of skis, 1 snowboard or several ice axes) 1 or 2 - 60mm gap by 300mm long GearHooks (ideal for 3 ropes or several carabiners, harnesses etc.) The CR3-300 has 3 x 300mm long double prong GearHooks, 1 of each as above. The CR6-300 has 6 x 300mm long double prong GearHooks, 2 of each as above. You can always add more GearHooks® for extra equipment like harnesses, ropes, boots, helmets, backpacks, skis, clothing and other gear, in just a few seconds if you need them. WHAT WILL YOU GET? Each rack comprises a 1 metre long steel rail which is galvanised and powder coated in your choice of colour and comes with all the wall fixings you need. Each of the GearHooks is made from super-strong cold formed, zinc plated, mild steel with a soft rubber coating to protect your gear. GearHooks are fitted to the rail with a CNC machined clamp, M8 hex head (Allen key) bolt and sliding nut. You can add or move hooks whenever you want in seconds. FITTING Fitting the rail is simple, on any brick, block, concrete or wooden wall, and it comes with all the fixings you need. The rail has over 20 mounting slots and can be mounted by drilling just 3 holes. The GearHooks® can then be fitted anywhere on the rail and adjusted up, down and sideways with just an Allen Key. Once tightened, into the position you choose, its all rock solid, like a custom welded rack. ABOUT US GearHooks are designed and made at our workshops in North Wales.
