You’ll need a greenhouse or conservatory but other than that, they are quite simple to grow. They do require a long growing season, but our jumbo plugs provide instant young plants so you can quickly get ahead. Peanuts are not actually nuts at all, but members of the legume family, and they are fascinating plants to cultivate. They produce small, yellow flowers from which long ‘pins’ grow. These pins push the developing ovaries into the ground, which eventually mature into peanuts.
