About Tobacco Ties:

A Tobacco tie is a pinch of Tobacco placed inside a square of broadcloth, usually tied off in a special way, and ends up kind of resembling a mini Halloween ghost. Traditional fasts often require participants to make a specific number of Tobacco ties. The number of Tobacco ties varies depending on the ceremony.
