As light as a feather and hard as dragon scales! Okay, maybe not quite, but when it comes to chainmail, riveted aluminum will give you the best combination of strength and weight at the best price. The chainmail coat is one of the oldest and long-lasting forms of armor for good reason, its flexibility and coverage are unmatched by plate armor. This coat can be worn by itself, over a gambeson or under plate armor.

We have designed this 10mm flat washer, round-ring chainmail hauberk with full sleeves and a riders slit to maximize mobility and reduce weight for all-day wear. The sleeves are also graduated so as not to leave excess material hindering movement and adding weight. Note that these sleeves are designed to ride up a bit when fighting and should be allowed to move. If worn with bracers, they should be worn above the wrist strap to allow for movement.

Each coat is individually weathered by hand using our tried and tested painting methods that we've perfected for that Battle aged look. If, however, you are looking for that knight in shining armor look, just flip the coat inside out.

*Notice: While it is much lighter than steel, aluminum chain mail is not as strong and does not provide real protective value. Our coat is as durable as they come, but all mail, even steel will lose some rings from time to time.
