Former Chelsea player and boss Frank Lampard, is currently caught up in a transfer saga with his former club.
Chelsea are trying to sign one of Lampard’s most important players in his Everton squad this summer before the window ends.
Anthony Gordon wants to join Chelsea, and Chelsea are pushing to try and get the deal done. A lot like the Wesley Fofana and Leicester situation, his club are trying to price him out of a move.
Lampard though, seems redundant that Gordon could end up leaving this summer, which again, mirrors Brendan Rodgers feelings with Fofana. Lampard says he wans a quick resolution on this situation and wants it sorted out one way of the other, reiterating last night that Gordon is HIS player.
It seems like one of those deals that is likely to get done purely because the player is so desperate for it to happen and wants to leave. No point keeping a player who doesn’t want to be there.
