Bad news for Chelsea as Target prefers to stay at his club according to reports.

Chelsea are looking to sign two more defenders this summer after already securing the services of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli over the weekend.

Todd Boehly and co have been working very hard on trying to bring head coach Thomas Tuchel exactly what he wants to improve his squad to a level that he feels can challenge at the top once again.

Things have gone well so far with Raheem Sterling also arriving alongside Koulibaly. But The Blues need more than that, and it is the defence that stays the priority right now.

Chelsea are targeting both Jules Kounde and Presnel Kimpembe, and our sources have the latest on those pursuits.

However, there might now be a sticking point to the Kimpembe chase. According to a report from French outlet L’Equipe, Kimpembe has met PSG’s board and said he wants to stay at the club.

PSG have refused an offer from Chelsea because it was below valuation and now they will only sell if Kimpembe changes his mind.
