Kimpembe price tag revealed by Fabrizio Romano; Here is what it means for Chelsea
The Parisians are hoping for a €60-65m fee apparently, which seems unrealistic. Romano says that Chelsea are hoping to pay closer to €45m to €50m.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are in direct talks for Presnel Kimpembé deal. Initial request around €60/65m but Chelsea are prepared to submit €45/50m proposal. Work in progress. 🔵 #CFC

It sounds like a compromise could be found between the two prices – maybe €50m plus some performance related bonuses.
That’s a lot – but for an established top tier Champions League player it’s not a crazy sum. Given the Parisians are closing in on the signing of Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan, we could see quite rapid progress on this front.
The sooner the better. We’ve done well to get Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly out to the US, if we can Kimpembe signed up and with the group by the end of this month that would be real progress.
