Rio Ferdinand takes director role at Manchester United, his expression says it all: I am Happy

Rio Ferdinand is obviously happy as he takes the job of a director at Man UTD and he has taken to out to say that he feels very happy having this job as a sports director at Manchester United.

Although he once said that he is not pushing for the job but he is certainly happy that he has at last landed it.

Here is what he said;

When asked if he wanted the director role at Man UTD, he said;

“Not really, no,”

“I am happy with what I am doing in regards to punditry, being involved in a management company and the WeAre8 stuff as well. I am happy. I am busy doing stuff.

“If the club ever needed me, I would always be open to that conversation because of my love for the club, but I think the same could be said of any former player who played for the club.”
