EPL: Antonio Rudiger to stay back in Chelsea amid Juventus agreement

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has decided to stay back at the West London club after attempting us on a free transfer.

The defender’s contract is said to be expiring at the end of the season.

Considering the sanction placed on Chelsea FC by the UK Government, Chelsea is currently unable to renew it sign any contract until a new hands take over.

This situation made way for some Chelsea players whose contracts will be expiring this summer, players like Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta who happen to be the blues captain.

The German international who joined the West London club back in 2017 from AS Roma have enjoyed his stay in the club.

Three top clubs showed interest in signing Antonio Rudiger on a free transfer amid Chelsea sanctions, these three clubs are as followed; Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United FC, and Juventus.
