Chelsea looses yet another sponsor; Here is the latest sponsor that just left Chelsea.
There has been a new sponsor that just pulled out of the deal with Chelsea amid the Ukraine invasion.
Tech firm Parimatch has declared their intent to leave the club as the attacks on Ukraine has not yet ended and there is no time on sight for this to end.
Although Tech firm Parimatch is not the first partner to leave the club but there has been others who have left like the UK phone company 3 and some others.
The company statement read;
“In light of the government’s recently announced sanctions, we have requested Chelsea Football Club temporarily suspend our partnership of the club, including the removal of our brand from shirts and around the stadium until further notice.
“We recognise that this decision will impact the many Chelsea fans who follow their team passionately. However, we feel that given the circumstances, and the Government sanction that is in place, it is the right thing to do.
Here is the official statement passed before they left the club;
“After considering the situation. We have decided to pause all joint marketing and brand campaigns with the Club featuring the Parimatch logo and brand,”
“Together with our licensed partner in Great Britain. We have agreed to use the LED display systems at Stamford Bridge exclusively for the promotion of our volunteering and donation activities to help Ukraine, which Chelsea FC are supportive of.”
