Latest Update on FA Cup quarter finals ticket sales to Chelsea Fans; FA confirms talks to make this happen
The England FA has said they are in talks with the UK government to find the best way or the solution to sell Tickets to Chelsea fans for the FA cup semi finals against Crystal palace by next month and as such Chelsea fans could have hopes of watching this game and cheering their players.
As a club operating under the said special license, it is not open to sell tickets but still something can be done about this.
In this said statement, the FA stated;
“We hope to have sell-out crowds at both of our Emirates FA Cup Semi-Finals at Wembley Stadium.
“This includes tickets for Chelsea supporters for their match against Crystal Palace, and we are working with the Government on a method to achieve this while respecting the sanctions that are currently in place on Chelsea.”
According to the times, Chelsea can only sell tickets through a commercial ticketing agency which in the end the funds raised will be put into a frozen account.
As a result, Julian Knight who is a member of the Parliament of the UK has urged the UK government to allow Chelsea access to FA Cup semi Finals Ticket sales.
