Alan Shearer makes honest confession about Chelsea Lukaku; Here is what he said.

Alan Shearer thinks Chelsea spend awful money on Lukakus signing and by and large he may not have been wrong as the striker has failed to live up to the expectation of the Chelsea fans since he arrived and also on many occasions has said he still admires Inter Milan at least that gives him off.

Alan Shearer has taken his time to share an honest confession about Lukaku citing that Chelsea spent awful money on the striker and I may not be surprised if he is not the only one who feels this way but a whole lost of people.

Here is what Alan Shearer said while speaking to BBC sports;

“They spent an awful lot of money on him. I thought he was going to be a game-changer for Chelsea this season. Hence I tipped the Blues for the league, but it hasn’t worked out for him. Only five league goals, 12 league starts. I just think at times, the system they play or want to play is not suited to him,”

“We saw his devastating form at Inter, but he was up alongside [Lautaro] Martinez there and that sort of suits him better. He’s not the type of guy that wants to press and work hard like Chelsea wants to play. I get the impression that he wasn’t the player that the manager perhaps wanted,”
