Here are the three top Chelsea players the new owners will retain; Details.
It is a very non certain moment for Chelsea to know exactly what they are doing now and they may end up loosing most of their top players this season as they may not be able to sign a new contract as a result of the sanctions but if a new takeover happens before the season ends then this may not eve come to happen.
Chelsea may stand to loose three of the most priced defenders ranging from Ruidiger to Azpilicueta but this may no longer happen.
As earlier reported, many other people have joined forces to buy the cub which included Chicago Cubs and Ken Griffin and the list did not just end there but it continues.
However, the former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes a takeover will and must happen at Chelsea even before this season ends and this is the safety route.
Speaking to Football Insider, Robinson said;
“I’m sure the sale of the football club will go through. I don’t think it’ll take as long as expected. There are serious players who want to buy this football club. There is a will and a want on both sides so I fully expect a deal to go through.”
He added: “I don’t think it will drag on beyond the end of the season so I think there will be an opportunity to sort out these contracts. There is a different scenario surrounding each of Rudiger, Azpilicueta and Christensen. But I wouldn’t be surprised if all three of them were retained under new ownership.”
