The West London giants have been faced with several challenges in the last few weeks.
We previously reported that the United Kingdom Government sanctioned the Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich over the bid to sell Chelsea FC following the recent Russian invasion.
Some of the sanctions placed on the West London club are as followed;
- No, selling tickets means that the yearly ticket holders are eligible to watch any of the blues matches.
- No signing or transfer of new players.
- No renewal of member contract and many more.
The Russian billionaire was banned from traveling out of the United Kingdom and sources have it that the reason for the ban and sanction by the UK government was as a result of his close relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Russian billionaire and Chelsea FC head were also accused of supplying Russia’s steel tanks amid their clash with Ukraine.
Just last night a fresh sanction from UEFA Champions League came up and this may be the biggest of them all.
The UEFA Champions League has sanctioned the West London club not to sell future tickets on any of their remaining Champions League matches and this sanction is said to have been caused by the Russian billionaire Kremlin links.
This revelation was made by the current Chelsea FC coach Thomas Tuchel.
