Maguire speaks on who is responsible for Man UTD defeat against Atletico Madrid
Atletico Madrid just beat Man UTD and this is not a good thing but someone has taken the anger to a whole new level, and this is no other than Maguire.
Maguire has taken out his anger about the loss and has explained why this happened.
Maguire speaking with BeIN sports in his statement he accused the referee of being biased and caused Man UTD to lose against Atletico Madrid.
Here is what he said;
“The style in Europe… it’s not for me to comment on but every time you touch someone, it’s a foul,”
“Anthony [Elanga] has a header early on, he heads it over, the keeper [Jan Oblak] clatters him and he gets a foul for it.
“It’s a different style but maybe we need to learn and grow from it. We got too frustrated and started losing our shape and the momentum. It’s something we need to learn from.”
He went on to blame the officials as he said;
“The decisions didn’t go our way tonight but we had long enough to get back in the game and get an equalizer and we didn’t do it.”
Now Man UTD will only gave to face the EPL to make sure they do finish at the top four here.
