Here is the one player who caused Man UTD to loose to Atletico as per Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes.
The two Man UTD legends Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes have jointly made their minds known about this defeat that Man UTD suffered from Atletico Madrid citing that the blames should be channeled to one player and one player alone.
According to them, they believe this is not a very good result for Man UTD nor was it a good performance but they seem to have their fingers pointed at one player.
With Man UTD trashed out of the UCL, it is left for them to make sure they do not loose to the Champions League again by next season by making sure they win all their EPL matches and also make sure they make the top 4 clubs so as to compete in the next years Champions league.
Here is what Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes said;
Speaking with BT sports, Ferdinand said; “I go back to Elanga, this is where you have to be disciplined and follow people, put in those hard yards,”
“You need bodies to come back and to chase and to help and unfortunately in that position it was one man against three.”
Scholes added: “The back four, don’t get me wrong, they are absolutely all over the place but Elanga, he has to sprint back into shape.
“This is the last 16 of the Champions League against a team who are unbelievably experienced in this competition.
“When you are out of your shape, you’ve lost the ball, the first thing you do is sprint back and he hasn’t done it.”
