Chelsea star Paulo Ferreiea set to leave the club after 18 years as a player and a coach

Many have misunderstood Roman Abramovich first signing at Chelsea back then in 2003 to be Paulo Ferreira.

Lets shock you a bit, it wasn’t Paulo rather it was Glen Johnson which later left the club few years later.

The Chelsea star Paulo Ferreira who is set to leave following Roman Abramovich bid to sell the club happens to be the first signing of the second season which took place under the coaching of Jose Mourinho.

The player departure from Chelsea doesn’t have anything to do with Chelsea boss decision to sell the club.

Paulo decided to move back to Portugal in other to be close with his family especially his son who is currently in the youth system at Estoril.

The Chelsea player retired in 2013 with a record of 217 appearance, 9 seasons with 11 solid trophy.
