Chelsea Takeover; Investors reportedly prepare bid to takeover Chelsea from Roman Abramovich.

A number of investors are moving in on Chelsea to buy out the club, notably a number of investors around the world are said to be preparing takeover bids for English Premier League outfit Chelsea as Roman Abramovich’s future at the club remains questioned.

British Labor MP Chris Bryant had told the House of Commons that the Russian entrepreneur should be barred from living in the UK permanently.

The Chelsea owner Abramovich was named among the key enablers of Vladimir Putin’s administration as Russia invades Ukraine.

It is not suggested that the billionaire has any involvement, but now Bloomberg reports via Daily Star that private firms from the US have shown interest in buying the Premier League club, which is valued at around £1.5billion.

Recall that in 2003, Abramovich acquired the Champions League club as he was said to have made his fortune from Oil. He is said to have a net worth of £9.7billion.

Meanwhile, Blues manager Thomas Tuchel was recently quizzed about whether UEFA’s recent decision to strip Russia of the Champions League from St Petersburg to Paris was the right call amid the growing conflict from Russia to Ukraine.

The German boss said:

“’Yes, a clear yes (it was the right decision). And sadly I think it’s the worst reason to have to change a location.

“We feel horrible about it in general and it clouds our minds and our focus, of course. I can absolutely understand the decision. There are things more important.”
