United are among five teams in a pole position to seal the final Champions League spot following a competitive campaign.

Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea look set to seal the top three slots in the division, leaving the fourth place up for grabs.

Top-four race heating up

Man United are currently placed fourth on the log after match-week 26, with the side enjoying a four-point advantage over fifth-placed West Ham United.

The Red Devils cemented their spot in fourth after their 4-2 thrilling win over Leeds United on Sunday, February 20, at Elland Road.

However, Ralf Rangnick’s charges must be wary of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the race to qualify for the Champions League after both teams also won their fixtures.

While United are enjoying a four-point advantage over the Gunners and a seven-point advantage over Spurs – it must be factored that the two London teams have three matches in hand.

Roy Keane’s prediction

Be that as it may, Keane contends United have what it takes to beat Arsenal and Tottenham to a top-four finish.

According to the ex-Red Devils captain, his former side can qualify for Europe’s elite football competition if they stay focused.

“I think United will be fine for fourth, I really do. There’s been lots of noises about players wanting to leave, contract situations with Pogba and Jesse Lingard, and people like that,” Keane told Sky Sports.

“Focus on the next few months, big few months for Man United, try and get fourth,” he added.
