Manchester United Injury Update against Leeds; Bailey In, Cavani Out; More Details.
More than one person in the Man UTD squad will miss the match against Leeds this afternoon and below is the update.
Edinson Cavani and Nemanja Matic will not feature in the Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday due to injury.
Cavani suffered a groin problem in training last Friday, which ruled him out of the 1-1 draw with Southampton, while Matic has a shin issue.
Fred and Alex Telles are fit to play once again after recovering from COVID-19.
“Fred will be available again,” confirmed Ralf Rangnick, at his pre-match press conference. “He’ll also be part of the group for tomorrow. Edinson is still out, the same with Nema.
The rest is, well, Alex [Telles] is back again in the squad and already was part of the group for the Southampton game and he will also be available.”
Eric Bailly was pictured training at Carrington on Monday, the first time the Ivorian has been involved since leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations in early January.
Currently there are no suspended players in the Man UTD squad.
