Reece James, Mason Mount, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ben Chiwell will not be in for the Campaign this afternoon between Chelsea and Crystal Palace according to a new injury report from Thomas Tuchel.
Reece James Injury update and expected return date
Although James traveled alongside his team mates to the CWC finals, he did not play as a result of his injury and although we expected his injury to have subsided before this match today but the recent update shows he will still be missing in the squad to face Crystal Palace.

Mason Mount
Mason Mount did not happen to join the blues in their semi finals of the CWC as a result of his injury, meanwhile he went for the finals but had to be substituted as a result of his injury.
He is expected to be out for at least two weeks or so before he can come back to action fully.

Cheek did not get to travel with the rest of the team to UAE after he picked up a knock during the winter break.

“He had an issue with his Achilles. Not a big injury but painful. It held him back from not being on the pitch. Since we’ve come back, he’s been very strong and feels free. He is available for the game tomorrow.”

Ben Chilwell injury update and expected return date
Ben Chiwell is not expected to be back anytime soon from his injury and it seems to be out of the season for this kind of injury he sustained. He sustained an ACL injury during Chelsea 4:0 win over Juventus in November 2021.
