Although James traveled alongside his team mates to the CWC finals, he did not play as a result of his injury and although we expected his injury to have subsided before this match today but the recent update shows he will still be missing in the squad to face Crystal Palace.

“He had an issue with his Achilles. Not a big injury but painful. It held him back from not being on the pitch. Since we’ve come back, he’s been very strong and feels free. He is available for the game tomorrow.”

Ben Chilwell injury update and expected return date

Ben Chiwell is not expected to be back anytime soon from his injury and it seems to be out of the season for this kind of injury he sustained. He sustained an ACL injury during Chelsea 4:0 win over Juventus in November 2021.
