De Gea hits out at Man United teammates after Southampton draw. Man UTD players were not happy with the draw against southampton and one person really taking this too personal is Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and he has lashed out at a fellow man UTD player in the dressing room just after the match.
The Red Devils looked set to put the game to bed in the first half after Jadon Sancho’s close-range clip handed the home side the lead.
Despite Man UTD being in control in the first half of the game they happened to do the same thing they did in most of their matches which is to just allow themselves get a draw in the second half as soon as it got started and De Gea was not particularly happy about this.
The goal conceded by man UTD was a great fault of the defender Harry Maguire and he just narrowly escaped a red card and a penalty as he stepped on Brojas calf in the dying minutes of the match.
Here is what De Gea had to say about his teammates
“The situation needs to improve and fast,” the Spaniard posted.
“We have to learn that this is not enough,” he added.
De Gea’s strong words came after club legend Paul Scholes had blasted the team for their lackluster performance.
Scholes noted that his former side are unable to kill off games despite boasting of a strong and talented squad.
